Owner, Founder President
Kurt leads the company’s overall management while pursuing opportunities in land acquisition, project development, and financial placement. His typical day involves working closely with staff, sales teams, estimators, superintendents, and realtors, staying engaged and helping wherever needed to keep the company’s focus strong. Kurt’s work ethic was shaped by his upbringing on a farm and ranch, and he began his construction career in 1979 as a framing carpenter before partnering with his brother-in-law in 1986 and entering homebuilding in 1992.
Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors, camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Motivated by challenge and persistence, Kurt values the diversity of each project and loves the dedication and hard work that bring every home to life.
Operations Manager
Managing planning, budgets, scheduling, subcontractors, and quality control, Nik oversees new projects from concept to final walk-through. He helps guide design decisions and keeps the team aligned with the standards his family established in 1986. His days are split between job sites and the office, reviewing plans, meeting with clients, solving field issues, and tracking progress and costs. Nik grew up in the business, starting as a framing carpenter before moving into design, estimating, and project management systems.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with family and friends, outdoor activities, cooking, and experimenting with cocktails. A second-generation builder, Nik focuses on blending tradition with modern tools and smarter ways to build. He enjoys problem-solving, creating homes that feel personal, and growing the company sustainably while upholding its craftsmanship and reputation.
Residential Construction SuperIntendent
Shane coordinates between clients and subcontractors while scheduling each stage of a home build. His days involve explaining details, guiding homeowners through decisions, and maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship. Shane began his career in landscaping before joining Custom On-Site Builders over twenty years ago as a framing carpenter, eventually working his way up to superintendent.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and especially cooking and smoking meats for family and friends. Shane loves experimenting with different cooking methods and equipment and even makes his own beer, wine, and spirits. Grounded in his faith, he values discussing it with others and volunteers his time to help rebuild homes for families affected by natural disasters.
Residential Superintendent
Brian coordinates between clients and subcontractors and manages scheduling throughout each home build. His typical day involves keeping subcontractors on task, monitoring quality on every project, and planning upcoming stages of construction. Before joining Custom On-Site Builders, Brian worked for a pole barn company, where he developed his foundational building experience.
Outside of work, he enjoys camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, fishing, riding dirt bikes, smoking meats, collecting sports cards, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their dogs. Brian loves his work and everything about Custom On-Site Builders.
Project Manager
Gary’s main responsibilities include job costing, customer relations, and project coordination. Each day, he balances keeping projects on schedule with planning new builds and maintaining strong client relationships. With more than 45 years in the home building industry, Gary brings extensive experience, including running his own company, Harmon Homes, from 1991 to 2008.
Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy camping and spending time outdoors. A lifelong builder, Gary inherited his passion for construction from his father and continues to take pride in every design and finished project.
Project Coordinator/Design Concierge
As a project coordinator, Lindsay supports superintendents with project management, tracking job costs, invoicing, managing change orders, and applying for permits. As a design concierge, she guides homeowners through selections and curates finishes for spec homes. Her days are spent handling administrative tasks, coordinating with architects and design centers, and brainstorming ideas for upcoming Parade homes and marketing projects. Lindsay grew up around construction, learning from her parents and gaining hands-on experience in various roles from a very young age.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, hiking, paddleboarding, and hosting gatherings with her husband. Known for her creativity and can-do spirit, Lindsay loves tackling new challenges, often proving that if she can imagine something, she can make it happen.
Office Coordinator
Spider manages the front desk, greets visitors, organizes files, submits permits, and communicates with clients. He also helps run the company’s social media accounts, capturing and sharing photos and videos of ongoing projects. His typical day includes answering calls, sending emails, supporting office organization, and assisting the project team with daily tasks. Before joining the office, Spider worked for his dad’s plumbing company and even helped on Custom On-Site projects, where he admired their organization and clean job sites. He later worked in one of their fabrication shops, crafting trim carpentry pieces and getting to know the team.
Outside of work, Spider enjoys watching movies, building Lego sets, playing video games, and listening to vinyl records. Fun fact: His legal middle name is actually Spider, after his dad accepted a bet from his grandpa. A music lover with eclectic taste, he enjoys everything from classic rock and old country to modern pop and electronic music, and he’s a huge Star Wars fan.
